Explore Eco-Therapy in Hamilton & Burlington

This offering aims to tap into a holistic approach to therapeutic care, direct towards traditional ecological knowledge, and to make steps towards decolonizing therapy.  Eco Therapy is a unique offering that re-connects clients to the natural world, allowing therapeutic themes to be experimented within new contexts.  Clients are able to return into their  bodies through movement, notice internal changes as the environment shifts around them, and develop powerful skills taught by the most unexpected teachers.

Nature offers a multitude of teachings.  From the power of slowness, to resilience, to community impact.  Accessing these teachings has developed powerful transferable skills such as pausing to expand awareness; cultivating curiosity, creativity, and intuition; supporting stress management and nervous system regulation; and developing more collaborative and humbling perspective taking.

You May Benefit From Eco Therapy If…

You face circumstances that cause barriers to traditional therapy settings (such as availability, transportation, privacy, eye contact anxiety) and hope for more accessible options.

You experience barriers around personal goal striving and would like opportunities for exposure towards experimentation, problem solving, and confidence building.

You are interested in expanding your cultural, spiritual, and/or ecological connection in a therapeutic context.

You hope to develop a deeper intimacy to and awareness of your body

You experience anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, negative body image, stagnation and disconnection.

Explore Jungian-Informed Dreamwork and Tarot

Dreamwork

Dreams offer a unique window into the unconscious mind. In Jungian psychology, dreams are seen as meaningful expressions of the psyche—revealing emotions, conflicts, and possibilities that may not yet be fully conscious.

Jungian-informed dreamwork is a collaborative process where we explore your dreams with curiosity and respect for their symbolic language. Rather than interpreting dreams in a fixed way, we look together at the images, feelings, and themes that arise, allowing insights to emerge organically.

Tarot

Jungian-informed tarot uses archetypal images as reflective, symbolic tools for psychological exploration. Through this lens, tarot is practiced through a projective rather than a predictive approach. Both therapist and client collaborate to examine how the images of the cards reflect the present moment, unconscious protective parts, and how inner psychological world is in relationship with the outer world through synchronicity.

Why work with dreams or tarot in therapy?

Accelerate and Track Therapeutic Progress

Dreams often bring forward the emotional core of an issue in a vivid image or story. Over time, dreams tend to shift as our inner life changes. Recurring themes may soften, frightening images may transform, or new resources may appear. By looking at dreams across sessions, we can often see signs of psychological movement and healing.

Tarot can similarly highlight shifts in themes, perspectives, and internal dynamics across sessions, allowing us to notice patterns and movement in your personal narrative. What might take many sessions to articulate in words can sometimes appear immediately in symbolic form, helping us reach meaningful insights more quickly.

Deepen Self Knowledge and Insight

Because symbolic images bypass purely rational thinking, they often reveal perspectives that may not surface through conversation alone. Engaging with dream imagery or tarot symbolism can uncover underlying beliefs, emotional dynamics, and unconscious motivations. Both modalities pair beautifully with Somatic IFS as it supports present moment awareness, parts integration, and Self-led healing.

Discover Inner Help

Even challenging dreams or tarot spreads often contain symbols of support—guiding figures, helpful objects, or shifts in the narrative. These elements can represent internal resources, resilience, and capacities that may not yet be fully recognized.

Access Creativity

Both practices engage imagination, metaphor, and visual thinking. This symbolic language can open creative pathways for understanding life challenges and exploring new possibilities for action and meaning.

Invite more Ease

In many ways, dreams are the psyche continuing the work of therapy during sleep. By bringing them into the therapeutic conversation, we can follow the psyche’s natural direction of growth—often making the process feel more organic and less effortful.
